Thanks for checking out my blog! Since you’re at the “About” page, I’m guessing you want to know more about me… so here goes. My name is Anya Woods, and I am a communications professional focused on business strategy and how new ideas and a holistic approach to PR, marketing and advertising can have a lasting and beneficial impact on organizational success. I blog here about new trends, ideas I think are worth noting, technology I think is interesting, and people who are leading the industry in new directions.
I am a principal and partner with Other Side Group, a Boston-based marketing and new media consulting firm, and have an extensive background in PR, social media and new media consulting, marketing, product launches, technology communications and media relations. I have a master’s of science in public relations from the S.I. Newhouse School of Communications, and a bachelor’s in English literature and philosophy from Providence College.
